Finally the real ingredient used in pharmacist's mixture has been disclosed. Propylene-glycol or IPA my foot.. its' good old 45º etanol.
I reckon that bourbon will be better for cleaning cartridges chip coded for NorthAmerica while Scotch or Irish liquor will work with European models. Maybe sake will do in Japan and vodka in Russia. ..What about China ?

The alcohol/volume are 44% and 45% in your pics. Those were the popular pistol calibers in the old wild West. Coincidence?

@Artur5, If you waste all your good whiskey cleaning carts and the like, you’ll have none left for yourself, have you ever tasted Propylene-glycol..
