So I managed to include the spectra data: LAB + spectral data from 360-780 nm and a version with LAB + spectral data from 400-700 mm, as there is no value from 360-400 nm and from 700-780 nm (all 0).

Ohhh, I see an error: the LAB values is BLA instead of LAB...here is the new file:

PLEASE use this file (400-700 nm spectral range).

Great, that is the spectral data we need. But can you provide it as a csv like before, the xlsx makes reading more complicated and does not provide the proper metadata (which row/column means what) that we had before with the csv. If possible also include the SAMPLE_LOC field in the output.

The script already references the ti1 and ti2, so for accuracy it would be helpful to receive a fresh zipped pack:
-ti1
-ti2
-scan csv
-a ti3 file generated with the ti1 and 2 using a Argyllcms compatible scanner (optional but helpful)

If you have the time please prepare a new set (generate ti1/2, printing, scanning, etc), to ensure we have accurate data. I will then finish the script and see if we can generate profiles using our output.

Not sure this will work, because I think the sample_LOC is defined in the ti2 file, where you might extract from there.
Sorry I am a noob in Excel. I exported the whole thing again in csv-format.

This zip-file has a sample ti3 file include that I scanned using my vintage i1Pro1 spectro in the same configuration as the one with the CR30.

I'm getting some results, can generate icc profiles from converted csv to ti3. Difference between i1Pro1 vs CR30 seems reasonable, but for some reason the profile gets flattened at a certain threshold on L*. Is this the profile you are expecting?

This appears in both the known good i1Pro1 ti3 and our converted data ti3, so it's probably me configuring ArgyllCMS incorrectly.

I attached the converted ti3 for you to try, please try so I know how to proceed with the script.

actually not, that should not be the case. It should like a inflated pear.

I get the same flattened pane when processing your i1Pro1 .ti3 with ArgyllCMS. If you get a nice profile with the i1Pro1 .ti3 you shared, please tell me what arguments you used so I can reproduce it.

I use this setting:

colprof -v -qh -i D50 -o 1931_2 -S AdobeRGB1998.icc -cmt -dpp -D%par1% -C%par2% %par3%

I'm breaking my head over this, using your provided i1Pro1 .ti3 that you made with ArgyllCMS, the resulting icc generated with ArgyllCMS gets the flattened pane. Are you sure the i1Pro1 .ti3 you shared can generate a desirable icc? I am able to generate proper icc profiles using my own ti3 files just fine
Even with your exact command and import of the adobergb icc we get the same result as shared previously.

I see the reference 228-target.ti3 (with my i1pro1) is not ok. I will upload it again. Please use this new ti3 als a reference to create the new ti3 using the scan data with the CR30.
