I recently purchased a Canon Pixma MG5320 photo printer. The printer works great but I purchased refillable cartridges with compatible ink on eBay. When I installed the new cartridges my prints all have a greenish tint to them. I complained to the vendor and took a digital photo of a before and after picture and sent it to them. Their reply was to go into color management and turn the magenta up a bit and turn the cyan down a bit. That's all well and good but I can't find anything in the printer settings to control color management. I reported this to the vendor and he has not replied. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Yes I know you have paid out good money for all this rubbish but if you continue to try and use this stuff
youll end up having to buy a new print head, now we are talking about real money.
There are several threads on this forum that would be suitable for you to read over particularly on refilling
the opaque cartridges or using clear alternatives and finally where to get good quality ink
that will work straight out of the bottle and no messing about with colour management..

Some aftermarket inks, even if especially formulated for Canons can have slightly different color but it shouldn't be way off.
Can you maybe link to the ink? We'd be able to see if it's at least safe for your printhead. If it's not, I highly recommend you look at other vendors.
If it is, and you're willing to mess around with the color settings in the drivers, or ICC profiles we might be able to help you locate the settings in your driver.
Even if the ink turns out to be usable, +1 on refilling the OEM carts and not using the refillables.

Just bought a used MG5320 and ordered some OCP ink. The result has been awful. While the scanned images here are not accurate (In terms of brightness), I hope the images give a bit of information as to give you idea what I am talking about. >>> 
Nozzle check gives very clean output. No color bleed in the cartridges and no ink leak of any kind. I am clueless as to why it would be this off.

Well, OCP inks do not match OEM Canon OR Epson inks.
They will always need to be profiled to the paper you are using.
I use OCP on my EPSON printers and ALL my papers had to be custom profiled in order to get great accurate colors.
I use Image Specialists inks on my Canons from Precision Colors and those DO match very close to OEM inks as you probably already know.
NOT OCP!!!! OCP is super cheap to print on however you will need custom profiles for your your papers and then you will get excellent results.
Gloss of the Magenta inks is NOT even close to OEM. IS Magenta does not have great gloss either.

Wow, even the cheap after market refilled cartridges from china sold by the likes of Ebay, Amazon and Meritline are miles better than this. Had I known this I would have stayed with IS from Precision Colors rather than venturing out for a different flavor. Did I just flashed $50 down the toilet then? I need to try all Canon ICC profiles from all printers they ever made before I dump this ink. Anybody willing to email me any ICC profiles from any canon printer? I could install the driver for a particular printer from Canon to get the ICC and then uninstall it but that would be a lot of work and would leave a lot of residue folders on my system. Thanks.
The real reason is that the ink colors for the 251/551 carts are different once again.
Well after tackling the Pro-100 and the soon to be popular XP-600. I gotta get cracking on the 551/251 carts. The ink colors are not the same as the 221/226 carts. I will try my best for a custom match..pretty much a requirement these days. Even on the XP600, I hope to have something special as these new Epson using the Claria ink is using a different dithering pattern making certain colors very sensitive.

I don't want to use after market cartridges at this point. I currently own a Canon MG6120 and MG8220 (the MG8220 is new in box, I recently bought on sale as a reserve for the future). You think it is a good idea to dump MG5320 and pick up another MG5220 OR MG6220? I have a chip resetter for CLI-221 and CLI-226 cartridges so I can pick up another Canon model that uses either the 221 or the 226. I want to use the same ink I buy in bulk for all printers. I chose the MG series based on the print quality and the AIO factor.

Its easy to change the color management in the printer driver. Give your newly bought ink another change.
Here is how to change the colors in the printer driver:
When you print a photo, open the printing preferences window.
Go to Main, tick Manual and click Set.
Then the Manual Color Adjustment window opens.
Your photos are too green, so you change the magenta slider from green towards magenta. On this example it is set to +16 magenta. The color change is shown on the picture with the pencils.
As you can see all colors can be altered, not only cyan, magenta and yellow, but also red green and blue. Now you can alter the colors until you get the same print as the OEM ink original.

^^^ I have played around with the color setting a lot and printed over 100 pages with different color setting and I can't get it right without affecting one of the other colors. I even tried many ICC profiles I have and none seem to work.
