Lol, they looks like a war of the ink, one question that aws small scale i had got that one after two month is dead there is not a better brand ?

Scales are unnecessary for refilling these cartridges.

Cannot tell what is in the plastic bag(s) on the tubing.

@jtoolman - the tubing is probably for flushing cartridges which the OP has talked about.

Agreed, but very useful when flushing the carts to ensure that the sponges are dry before refilling.

Because the carts hold a mere mosquito's pee of ink even a gram of excess water content prior to refilling can serieosly dilute the ink a few percentage points.

Seriously trying to avoid any maths given my recent calculation fiasco! :(

I paid $3.95 for that clear vinyl tubing at the surplus store but only needed 4 inches. It fits perfectly on the bottom sponge end of cartridges.

The extra can be used as a very long level; just fill it with water and have two people lift it to mark the water level on each end for hanging curtains.
