Hi everyone,
I'm new to the world of refillable cartridges and third-party inks, and I’d really appreciate your advice.
I own an Epson P900 printer (purchased in Venezuela), and I’ve been using it for high-volume printing. I'm now considering switching to refillable cartridges and compatible inks to reduce costs, but I have a few questions:
Thanks in advance for your help and any insights you can share. I’m still learning and don’t want to make a costly mistake.

I own an Epson P900 printer (purchased in Venezuela), and I’ve been using it for high-volume printing. I'm now considering switching to refillable cartridges and compatible inks to reduce costs, but I have a few questions:
- How can I verify what version (US, EU, etc.) my Epson P900 is? I assume it's the US version, but I’m not entirely sure.
- I have several original Epson cartridges, some used and some still new. All of them have chips that worked fine in my printer. Is it possible to reuse any of those chips on refillable cartridges (e.g., the ones sold on AliExpress or other stores)? Or are those chips locked after use?
- I've read about chip resetters—how exactly do they work? Would any of the resetters available online work with the chips I already have?
- Also, what’s the general recommendation between using resettable chips vs one-time chips or ARC chips (auto reset chips)? Are the AliExpress chips reliable for long-term use?
Thanks in advance for your help and any insights you can share. I’m still learning and don’t want to make a costly mistake.
