I'm considering buying the ip4200. Can I use same carts on the 4200 as in 4000? What about ink? Do I have to buy separate ink for the 4200? I've read that ip4200 has some chip to prevent refilling? Is that true and can it be overridden?

Canon ip4000 can print max A4, letter etc. papers. I'd like to print A3 size. Does Canon have printer that uses same carts?

Magenta and cyan look a bit "scratchy" to me. The colorbars should be pretty solid color. When that happens to my ip4000 magenta a greenish cash will result. I've succeeded unclogging with flushing the printhead under warm tap water.

My ip4000 printhead is getting clogged too fast. After a cleaning cycle the test print looks OK. Then I print a full page color print (pie chart & text). Then I print a test sheet. It looks real bad. 3ebk and magenta is like crap, other look ok. The printhead seems to clog after one page.
