I ordered those damper when I saw you talking about them a few months ago. They worked great for a month and then all of a sudden, the one wouldn't seal and the whole cartridge empties out twice. Went back to my standard ARC chipped cartridges. I would love a resetter that would work on the...
Oh, OK. On the Artisan 50, it just stop in the middle of a sheet. I kinda want to stop that from happening. I don't mind doing a priming cycle when I do it when planned instead of right in the middle of a job. Also that could and has happen several time trying to print out a single picture...
Ok, but one of the other cartridges that you didn't reset by leaving them in can give empty warning int he middle of the page. This could happen six times more often that resetting all of them at once. Wouldn't it make sense to pull them all and fill them and also reset them so this will happen...
Quick question. Could you achieve the same thing by pulling ink though the exit port with the older Epson adapter on the syringe. It just seems that it would be easier and may be less harmful to the cartridge if you put too much vacuum using your way. Just curious.
I have one of the piano books in my 810. I works great. The chip resetting works great too. The cartridge gets low like normal and says to change it. You hit the little button on the cartridge (part of the piano book, or any other CISS, system) and it thinks there is a new full cartridge...
I have one on my 810, basically the same printer with a different control panel and scanner feeder.. Here are your answers.
1. The grinding is easy if you use a dremel tool. As for how much, it is just trial and error. It is really easy though. Just grind some and try and close the lid...
granddad, without starting a war. I saw this post and remember the link I posted, reread the link and thought it would be useful. If the person is smart enough to load different chemical into the cartridges, I'm sure he can click the turn color management off. I don't know if the different...
I have not used their CISS, but have used their refillable cartridges for my R280. I just got an Artisan 810 and got the Piano Book CISS from http://ljhent.com for $129 filled with ink and free shipping. It is the same system for the Artisan 800. If you mention to his you saw his CISS from...
Has anybody used the Berkley Jensen Photo Glossy 10mil papger from Bj's? I used to the the Kirkland stuff from costco, but the people that used to get it for me I no long see very often. I am looking for a comparable paper at a similar price to the Kirkland stuff, any other suggestions?
The only problem is that they don't specify the type and how much ink you get. How much additional ink is. and pricing for filled vs non-filled systems.
Are there any chips out yet for the Artisan printers that work? I've heard that the one that say they are OK for the Atisan don't work because of something the Artisan checks for on the chip.
Are they still available? Last I heard you couldn't get refillable epson stuff anymore, since it is legal to import them anymore. Like I said, I have been out of the Epson loop for a while and this is last I heard.
