That’s great, thank you for the lengthy response. To be clear, it was my first time using that cleaner. The cart with the desaturated top sponge is one I received flushed from PC and have never done my own flushing on it.
The CLI-42 cart that i flushed is a third cart I had kicking around...
See the attached pic. The cart at the back is a CLI-42 that I flushed with LA Awesome and it came out looking pristine white and the sponges look quite saturated after filling (with the exception of a small spot bottom left).
This led me to wonder if my workflow is wrong. The cart at the front...
Yes of course there are options but Red River has so many amazing papers and sizes to choose from. I’m like a kid on Christmas when I visit their website ;)
Not to mention their prices are very good and is close after exchange and shipping so if I could lower that shipping cost it would be a...
Anyone have advice on reducing shipping costs from the US for papers. Specifically I’ve been looking at Red River Paper. I order their sample packs over the holidays and it came in at over 80$ CDN after taxes, exchange and shipping. Over a third of that was shipping costs. Just curious if...
Thank you for the quick reply. I guess my concern was more since I’ve hesrd multiple times about not trusting the inks beyond 6 to 8 months.
I think I am using best practices for storing the ink (on a covered shelf in a walk in closet... light exposure is limited)
This may seem like an odd question (cause I definitely can’t find an answer to this anywhere), but I have some squeezy bottles of PC inks (for a Canon Pro-100) that are nearing 9 months old which I realize is hovering around that danger zone for dye based inks. I’ve order new ink from PC, but...
Does anyone have any experience with this paper? I enjoyed the Supreme line of papers in the past but the matte does not seem to be available anymore, at least in Canada.
It’s currently on sale 2 for 1 and will probably give it a try but curious to know others’ opinions.
Thanks.
Thanks. I had tried that, tried a few times actually and turning the connector over and things like holding down the power button longer (maybe there was some hard reset function). Anyways, i was just about to come update. I ended up unplugging everything and leaving it sit for an hour or...
I reorganized my room yesterday and moved my printer. Was handled properly and not bumped around or anything. Afterwards, I was able to start up the printer and use it normally. Today I went to turn it back on and nothing happens.
I tried unplugging it from the power bar and plugging it...
Yes I've had the same experience here in the past couple of weeks. The first time I come to the site it is unresponsive and have to close out and try again or refresh and it will eventually come, but that first time just never seems to go anywhere.
Thanks for the response. Yes, these are original Canon carts that I modified (with the exception of the yellow which was replaced by a CLI-8). I've read good reviews about the paper and the price isn't that far off of Canon paper but got them when they came on sale. We don't get the crazy...
Since recently buying a printer, the papers I bought are all staples brand from their photo supreme line of papers. I know PC has an icc profile for the matte paper, I am not able to find profiles anywhere for their high gloss and satin papers and staples does not offer any recommendations on...
Hi all. Over the summer I decided to buy my first photo printer and went with the Canon pixma pro-100. Since then I have been doing a lot of tests and have purchased a few different finishes of paper (satin, matte, glossy). I have also been watching a lot of YouTube videos (Jose Rodriguez...
