Yep. However, I do not recommend it. My advice on ink usage is based on Canon Technical Support's recommendation to me and forum consensus. Now you've heard another voice - mikling's, owner of Precision Colors.

A 6-8 month shelf life of even a partially used bottle, let alone an unopened one, is, at face value, an eyebrow raiser, to say the least. More information is needed to evaluate this claim properly.

Until and unless good evidence to the contrary surfaces, my recommendation remains use inks within 2 years of opening as long as there are no other issues with the ink itself or its performance, which there should not be if stored and handled properly.
