I can't stand Bourbon. In fact I hate anything related to it.
(before you Kentuckyans start insulting me, notice that I wrote Bourbon, not bourbon ..:p )

I gather that you didn't get my silly joke. :D. 'Bourbon' wasn't meant as a drink but related to some infamous individuals from the old continent..

Just an update…

I’ve printed everything I need now to assemble the many parts of the lamp standard, but this time because of past mistakes and parts that survived the demolition, it only took 800 hours to complete..

I'll start by putting the smaller bits together first and coating them with paint for UV protection and when I get the upper half re-aselembed I will put in the wiring, fittings and bulbs, then maybe I can get the garden lit accordingly. (The centre column in already in place..)

I am taking no chances this time, I even intend to reinforce the concrete base, wider and deeper with rebar’s, just to be on the safe side, underestimating the wind caught me out last time, but not a second.. Mid-January I reckon should see it back up in place… (Weather permitting)

New Basic Setting:- Shell fill 2.5 mm, with bottom and top thickness of 3 mm, and infill of only 30%, filament usage was down to only 14 rolls this time.. Go towards the Light…

'Bourbon' wasn't meant as a drink but related to some infamous individuals from the old continent..
P.S. Bourbon also helped the project along , but not Christmas day because the printer got it's only day off..it's safe to print and drink, it's all 3 dimensional...

And Finally..
The Lamp standard is back in its rightful place, after a major setup problem, it took a bit longer than planned, but it’s shining bright and that all the matters to me…:celebrate

P.S. Let’s see what the weather can do to it....:hide
