hm, are these just the resellers or also the manufacturers? I'm very interested into researching more about manufacturers. I read that InkSwiss, Peach are very good ones, but very difficult to find to buy online.

If that list is just the resellers, it's very interesting which inks do they sell. Image Specialists are the ones also sold by OctoInk I think.

It is just the resellers list.
Normally the manufacturers dont sell to Joe Soaps like ourselves unless you decide to become a reseller or you want litres of the stuff.. :|

Yes, that makes sense :) I guess I'll have to visit each and check on what they sell.

It doesnt really matter where the inks are manufactured so long as its of good quality.
We dont know where Canon or Epson manufacture their ink, most lightly somewhere in Asia.
All The resellers on the list have a good reputation for selling good quality inks and thats whats important.
Also inkjetcarts are alive and well + Efillink does both Epson and Canon inks ..

Inkjetcarts is up and running, they are 2nd sourcing Inkrepublics refill system for the 3880. Call Ross Hardie 888.465.9979 and wake up the living.
Efillink also has a refill system for the 3880.

Anyone have any reviews or performance comments about the 3880 refill systems? My new 3880 has pushed into a new 'pigmented' world---and I thought my decade with Canon 99xx's would let me rest and just print!

PS: Hat: thanks for the ref credit.

The Inkrepublic's 3880 refill system is in fact the same as the Pro 3800 I-refill system. There has been changes in the chips to deal with the new VM and VLM cartridges. The Pro 3880 is in fact the same machine as the Pro 3800, with some adaptation in the LUT and possibly the printhead to deal with the VM and VLM inks. The same reviews about the Inkrepublic's Pro 3800 I-refill system can be applied to this "newer" Pro 3880 I-Refill system.

This extensive review which has been written by me almost a year ago has been visited more than 10.000 times and might be helpful to those wanting a cheaper and reliable refill system for the Epson Pro 3800/3880 system. After having tested and used several refill systems, the Inkrepublic's Pro 3800/3880 system is far superior to the other systems. Note: about the ink I can not make complete conclusion, because I stilll did not used the supplied ink. I have only my matte black and LM cartridges refilled with the Inkrepublic's IRK-4 nano inkset and my first impression is the better gloss. So my first impression the results seem to be very good.

Inkjetcarts who sells the same system combines these cartridges with the excellend Image Specialists IM-K4 inkset and this ink is the one I am using and the results are very satisfactory to very good (maybe less glossy, but still very acceptable).

Your question on if the cartridges are the same. The ones on ebay are the second generation cartridge you can tell by the small round circle in the middle of the cartridge and the fill hole is next to the air plug. On the first generation cartridge the fill hole is on the far side of the cartridge and there is a small metal insert on top of the cartridge neck where is inserts into the printer. These second generation cartridges have a better flow than the first original cartridges that they made. The first image only shows the sticker side of the cartridge and you can not see the clear side of the cartridge. So all i can tell you is they might be the same but without more pictures you cant tell.

They both will be made in China and they will (should) should be fine just use good quality ink!!.

Hope that clears up a few things :)
