Well i need a new printer... I have been useing a 1290 for somewhile now, and its wearing thin...

Basically i keep reading mixed reviews on the 8750 and the r1800... Which one do i get...??

I do graphic design, so my work will be part photographic, and part flat/solid colour... also thicker paper would be used sometimes...

What would be best for me in this situation, im just looking for the best all round quality i can get...

Also would upgrading to the Epson R2400 be pointless for me as my work isnt mainly photographic...??

Thanks for ur help

The Epson R1800 is designed for photo printing. Gloss optimizer is a top coat for the inks to give it the gloss like real photographs. Epson 2200 and R2400 are similar. R2400 has an extra black and this printer is the best Epson printer for black and white printing.
