Used the Epson reset but it only reverted to 40% then when it needed doing again, it reverted to 40% but still showed service required for a few prints before showing the pads as 101% full.

Used WIC reset but wonder if the Epson reset will work when the pads are showing as full.

The activation key is sent to a UK e-mail, I just leave the area as Canada

The Epson utilities will not completely reset the waste ink counter, whereas as AdjProg service utility or WICReset/iWIC will reset the counter(s) to zero when used properly.

Pretty sure Epsons remit with their IPRs is very much based around using up the excess capacity rather than allowing you to self-service your printer.

Managed to find resetters for SX415, PX650, PX700 - PX800

page-net.com/frame/pages/Epson%20printer%20resetting.htm

The PX650 can be reset with a T50 resetter

The PX700 - PX800 was using one which came with the usual " use at own risk " warning, however, it turns out to be an Epson Resetter and the guy who is hosting it has got a take down notice from their legal dept. Interestingly, this one set the counters to zero, as confirmed by WIC

The Artisan 835 isn't compatible with earlier utilities... To my knowledge the only thing that will is the WICReset with a key purchase.

There's an AdjProg.exe for that at print-ease.com. Being my first post (how sketchy of me) I can't post the full link but you can copy and paste this in your browser ---------> print-ease.com/userimages/Reset-Key-Codes-for-Epson(2702014).htm <-------------- to get there. I bought my waste ink fix from there. It was legit but I'm not too sure with the Artisan 835. Last post here was two months ago, but if you decide to give it a try let us know if it works.

It does seem some utilities have gotten out into the wild of late that cover some of the previously un-supported utilities so I've obviously got some work to do.

As an aside, I'd recommend putting your printer on a lipped tray to catch the eventual overflow that will result from the print-ease design though... The tubes used in that poorly executed copy, are way too thin and result in the overflow kicking in and dumping ink through a secondary tube that exists in the printer.
