Hi there
I recently acquired an Epson Stylus Pro 3800 printer for cheap. I got it for a good price because, when attempting a nozzle check, no ink is transferred onto the paper. There are no error messages during the operation, and the printhead goes through the motions. I tried a paper towel/windex cleaning on the printhead, but the results were minimal, if any. I am suspecting that the pressure pump might not be doing it's job properly, or there is a leak in the system, but I'm not sure if there is a test for something like that. Because I'm neurotic, last night I replaced the dampers, flushed out the switch/damper while I was in there, and flushed out the ink lines. I haven't tried anything else since then. Does anyone have any experience with such a problem?
Thanks very much for any help!
