When you’re buying new cartridges or Chips from China you need to be extra careful in the way these individual items are advertised.
The Chinese have a big problem describing ARC chips, there are several English translations like Reset chips, ARC chips, resettable chips, but most of these descriptions are incorrect, what they mean is a non OEM working chip.
It’s not intentional on the seller part, something is just lost between Mandarin and English, so before you purchase it is wise to ask the seller first, if the chips can be reused more than once..
There is a practice in China to make One time chips that can sometimes be reset with a resetter but if none are available then you're stuffed, ARC chips are more expensive to manufacture, so if you’re buying chips remember to get more that one set at a time..
