Thanks for feedback, it sometimes takes a few turns with assumptions what cause it could be; you had all the work to get it done; I just hope that the situation stays that clean from now on.

I kept getting gaps across a few colours, so I decided to to more cleaning. I did "power washing" of some cartridges and I found out that even the metal meshes on blue and magenta were partially blocked. Same colours I have gaps in the check pattern.. Now I'm down to yellow sucking in neighbouring magenta - I skipped yellow as it looked OK.

So far it's OK, no sucking in across colours. I observe a bit a smudging, but I'll start a separate thread as it doesn't seem to be related to cartridges.

Printer was not used for last 48h - no signs or any colour cross contamination on the check pattern :) Case closed :)
