Yep - that total clog was very interesting and shall be mentioned in my memoirs.

@pharmaceut
Your conserving fluid is now at stage : 1 plus 1 cleaning cycle and ten minutes rest, then 1 plus 1 cleaning cycle and ten minutes rest and now another cleaning cycle.
(I added 5 cl cyan to the liter I prepared to perhaps see a very fade nozzle check in the end - totally unrespectfully...). It has faded a lot but the nozzle checks still are full and has the "right" colors. As expected the cyan one a tiny bit clearer. The text can be read without problems.

I'll give it another go as described before just to get the more pigments out of the printer.

However for real printing changing to another ink set with about the same properties - probably this should be enough.

Thanks man!

UPDATE:
After two more cleaning cycles all of sudden all colors was gone - just the very faint cyan added to Your mix! I'll stop there.
END

I must admit that I'm lost why such extensive cleaning actions are necessary when you just want to swap one pigment ink set by another - from/to Cone to/from Epson genuine inks

The deep cleaning action was an accident at work that had nothing to with my question and that became rather dramatic for me. Sorry for that all of You.

@pharmacist said in total 5 head cleanings and I veryfied that with up to seven. That is practicaly the same for a new profile to kick in when changing ink sets on a 3880/P800. We agree! That's it!

You are welcome to dismiss all other wordings as rant.

OK you said it. You got a clog or a pizza wheel and gave up for a toy making "thingies" out of plastic strings.

Sad....:idunno
