Hi @palombian I could have done with one when the print head locking clip broke on mine, fortunately I was able to salvage the parts and glue them back together again using a metal bar as an axel...

Yeah, I remember that, nobody else could have repaired this .

Is the new printhead still OK ?

I already lost 2, but both were second hand. Think age is as important than page count.
Both announced the end by losing half of the cyan.

In the original 9500 manual Canon states the lifetime of the printer as "20k pages or 5 years, whatever comes first".
