Congrats on joining the madness that is 3D printing 👏

If you expereince difficulty getting the filament fed manually into the extruder a good tip is to cut the filament at an angle with a pair of snips. Makes it easier to feed through the extruder to the nozzle.

Also look for a link to the Creality Discord as there will be lots of users in there who share mods and solve issues.

I did not know there was built-in camera monitoring the printing proces. It seems also continously detecting the temperature of the nozzle , hotbed and the chamber.

So here you are my new printer: A hefty and largView attachment 17414View attachment 17413

After having some problems with inserting the filament into the print head I finally managed to have test print with the built-in template to see if it does it job:

And here the result of my first object (built-in template to test the printer):

My first print seems to be very good indeed: sturdy and hard and very finely printed without any sharp angles. It took about 40 minutes to print.

Now I have to study the 3D CAD software to design and to adapt certain designs to my taste and needs.
Wow!

Congrats on your new baby!!!

I hope you fall in love with 3D printing as much as I have!!!
