I want to experiment with my Epson WF-7525 and want to fill a set of T1291-T1294 refillable cartridges with a mixture of K3 pigment ink.

Because I want to use the CMYK-printing method, there is a problem how to mix the inks:

Yellow: LLK
Magenta: 1 part of LLK + 1 part of LK
Cyan: 3 parts of LK + 1 part of PK
Black: PK

Is this a good way to mix the inks ?

I would try the following:- !
Yellow: 100% LK
Magenta: 50% LLK + 50% LK
Cyan: 75% PK + 25% LLK.
Black: 100% LK.
I would stay away from using PK black in the black position altogether
just to try and hold the neutral ground with the other 3 positions..

All of them! LOL
Why not use PK in the black?
How would you achieve a good deep black with only the lighter blacks?

I did something similar with a 1400 but used diluted photo black instead of the LK and LLK of the K3 inkset, and it worked really well.

Try printing a few nozzle checks one on top of the other till you get some solid blocks of pure colour, for both the CMYK inks and for the K,LK and LLK from your 2880 and try figuring the ratios from there. Have a look at the last post here:

Printing while using just the black by itself, I agree you wouldn’t but when using
the whole combination together then it’s very achievable..

Well, I do. Didn't I mention using the CMYK-printing mode and for the black position I want to put PK :) ?

Hmmm....I am not realizing it is aimed at the Hat ....
