A local store just put for sale a few Canon ip5200 printers for $179.00. I don't know much about it except that it takes the 5 and 8 cartridges like the ip4200, 4500, MP830, etc. Is the 5200 a decent buy at that price? I have a refurb 4200 as a spare, but the way things are going I don't mind...

Canon's new series of printers ip3600/4600 use the PGI-220 and CLI-221 cartridges. Although cheaper, they probably have a new chip - so we start all over for resetting? I think that I will buy a spare MP830 (or 850), or a 4500 befor they disappear.
