Why is it complaining about my signature being to long now??? I'm trying to update it to get rid of the smiley that seems to of popped up but keeps moaning about length.

Hi Joe. I agree i wasn't an AIO person either until i got this printer.... The print quality easily matches if not exceeds my old P50 i use to have with just 5 ink carts over the 6 in the p50, and now not having to mess about with my scanner to copy a document is a godsend to be honest. The...
Wow... the internal of the black cart is so stupid and totally wasteful and kinda makes customers think Nice a huge black cart... FAIL!!!! :( Great info Mikling tried to find the +1 rep button :P
I think i will approach it like mikling and pop a small hole there to fill it. I take the...
I think mikling uses inks from. http://www.precisioncolors.com. I've been waiting for the XP600/700/800 to pop on there but as i'm in the UK shipping will be to costly i suspect for me.
I am using the original "starter cart" from the printer box. They refill to the same Qty as the std/XL...
Hi Websnail. I didn't get 2 XP-700's :P but this is what I did with My "Starter Carts" and never hit an issue.
1, unpack and use the "Starter Carts 1st".
2, CISS Set Arrived and realised that the CISS carts were crap, put them on the scrap heap pile.
3, re-installed "starter carts" until they...
As a previous waste ink tank customer I will certainly be fitting one as I said earlier when my warranty has expired or when the counter needs to be reset which ever comes first, as said by websnail above I am one of them customers who only wants to dismantle part of the printer once and once...
Yep it is, but its just showing how simple it is to get to the ink waste tank whether his information is right or wrong was not in question, we have the good experts here to put us on the right path on how to do the best thing. :thumbsup
Yep i do agree the many cleans I had to do with the...
I'd seen a you tube video on the removal of the waste ink tank a few weeks back, and agree that i would probably not fit a waste ink tank until the warranty of my XP-700 had expired, and so far the the only head maintenance i have had to do is due to the crappy CISS carts i was sold and the head...
hahahah, love it Dooomy-San.... Think I have a while before my waste ink counter hits its reset point. The Online re-setter is the only one i've spotted so far, and the Service Applications available for me as a lowley end user, seem to have the ink reset removed.
I got a WICReset when I got my Printer Potty for my P50 from you but not found one for the XP-700 as yet... :) Not keen on this one that wants you to remote connect port to some internet IP address pass them some money and boooom!... Don't sound like a wise idea to be honest.
Agree with websnail... I have the Initial setup carts that came with the printer with some octoinkjet ARC's on them and they seem to hold the same amount of ink as miklings XL carts did.
If i could refill them It was easy :P
There is a thread a little while back saying that they were now...
So i gather from both your findings/investigations that as a home print user and not a commercial re-filler/seller that the dribble refill method will never be an issue for me, even if this air valve thingie triggers and lets in air?
Thanks Guys!!

Thanks for your inputs, as websnail said I was wanting to flush them so i could see what ink blend available to me in the UK works the best and not being effected by mixed inks...
My update is though the ARC Chips now fitted to 3 of the 5 carts, M,C & Y... The Refill was exactly as expected...
I hope someone in the UK will then re-sell/distribute your ink mix... I received my ARC's from Octoinkjet today... Huge Thanks!! but not got to grips on the flushing of the epson setup carts, My Magenta just ran out with the Cyan, Yellow, Black very near but the photo black still at about 25%.
I've nearly drained my Epson Setup carts of Epson Ink, and time to flush out and refill, shame the postage from the US to the UK wasn't better as it will make it way to expensive for me :( Were your color test used with Original Epson carts refilled or via the refillable/CISS carts?
Many...
I am going to be starting some testing on the original Epson starter carts shortly by testing some ARC's and 2 differing ink brands refilled into the Epson starter carts using miklings method show in this thread. What I am unsure on how to flush out the carts so i can achieve an accurate test...
