I wandering if you have found out any more information about them using the same cartridges as the R1400. Pharmacist posted that the UK version can if they are the same printer. Can we just change the firmware settings like for the cd printing on canons? I currently have a canon iP4500, and...
I currently us the Hobbicolors inks and was just wondering about the Image specialist. I have custom profiles that I made at work the the 2 papers I use most, but was thinking if the fade resistance is as good with the IS ink it would be a closer match colorwise for other papers I don't have...
I have a ip4500 printer and print mainly on Kirkland (Made in USA) or Ilford Galerie Gloss papers. I was wondering if anybody has use both the UW8 Hobbicolors and the ImageSpecialists inks and can tell which one is more fade resistant. I will shortly be using the Ilford paper only because...
Is canon about to announce a new printer to replace the iP6700d? I noticed on their website that the best photo printer they currently list is the iP4500. I have this printer and think it is great, but just wondering about a new 6 color printer.
I don't want to sound like I know this, because I don't I just want to ask this. Is the color gamut any different between a 4c and a 6c printer? They are both using CMYK inks, but eh 6c has a diluted version of the CM. I am just asking this because I had and iP6700D (6c) and just replaced it...
Thank you. I have one unopened package left. I will take it to work and weight it, and figure out the shipping charges. I bet it will be much less that what Costco charges the few time I ordered right from them.
Has anybody seen the Kirkland Gloss 8.5x11 150shts at Costco anymore. I can't seem to find it online anymore. If there is anybody that sees it and would be willing to buy say 3 pack and ship it to Buffalo,NY please PM me, as my relatives in Baltimore,MD don't have it anymore either.
Does anybody know if the CLI-8 chips are color specific. I have a few sets from my iP5200 and now I have a iP6700D. I don't want to have to buy a another set of PC and PM so that I have a complete extra set if I don't have to. I would like to use the C and M as a spare PM and PC id possible...
I would like some user comments on the ip4300, Especially the refilling aspect. I have read on a few user reviews that there is no way to disable the ink warning in order to use refilled cartridges like on the 4200 and 5200. Is this true? Also I read that it can be done, but once it is done...
Has anybody had any experiences with the new Kodak inkjet printers? The price of the ink alone is making me think about getting one. If I don't like it, I'm sure it will be good enough for my parents and much cheaper to operate than their old Epson.
Has anybody had any experience with the ip4200 refillable cartridges from echostore.com? (http://www.echostore.com/refillable-cartridge-ip6600d-ip6700d.html)
Doesn't Costco carry the Kirkland gloss photo paper any more? I read in a previous post the rumor they were going to stop, but I didn't get a chance to get any. It doesn't seem to be on their web site any more.
Can somebody please repost the German refilling technique. I clicked on the link above and it doesn't work. Also I searched for the author and found nothing.
I don't think it is the ink. I have purchased the ink first for my IP5200 from we-ink before they closed, then from MIS this past month for my IP6700D. From what I can see, it seems to me that the cyan is too 'thick'. It is like the cartridge is starved for the first few passes of the...
I have any interesting, to me anyways, question. I have has 3 canon printers, a i960, IP5200, and now an IP6700D. On each printer I have noticed that the Cyan ink is the first and only ink to give me problems. After refilling a few times pictures develop streaks in the beginning. After seeing...
I had relative buys some for me as we don't have a Costco in Buffalo, NY. I was surprised when the packaging changed and there was more paper with no cost increase. I didn't notice the manufacture was USA, not Switzerland, but the quality seems to be the same. Still pretty lightfast compared...
