Hello im new here and hoping to get some help with my epson p400.

Everything was printing fine until one day. Now while i try to print 2 things happen.

The Ink light
and paper light both go on.
Note i have full ink in the system and it seems to keep wanting to print fine art media paper. ive reinstalled the drivers and everything and no luck. I I cannot test print anything or even print via wifi. Its very wierd and frustrating and have no idea whats up.

Can anyone help please?

It's not really clear where the problem is - which type of system are you running ? Could it be that you still have a print job in the print queue ? Can you try to connect the printer directly to the computer via USB and call up the status monitor from the driver on the utility tab.

Apologies let me make it a bit more clear. So i have all new ink in my system. Iam trying to print on a regular piece of paper. When i click print it states it has a different type of paper than the printer driver but it does not. It keeps trying to get me to open the poster door bay and ven with it open it will not print poster board. I also get a error light for paper and ink also blinking at the same time when trying to print. Im pretty stuck as to what to do with this.

You may try to close the printer completely, close the output paper tray completely , as well the input tray ,turn the printer off and on again and check the status and make sure that the front feed paper tray for heavy paper is really closed , see the manual on p22 step 3, that paper tray must really be closed or you get some warning if you don't want to use it - as in your case.

To print on single sheets or roll paper;
Close the front paper feed guide.

To print on CD/DVDs or thick paper;
Open the front paper feed guide, and then set the CD/DVD or thick paper correctly.

So this is the error code

The front manual feed tray is not in the correct position. When printing on thick paper, or a CD or DVD, open the front manual feed tray and position the paper or tray correctly.

so it seems maybe a senr on the front might not be working or something

I have put my P400 away at this time, isn't there a lever on the left side to let you slide in the CD tray, you may move it up and down and watch any status/error indicator.
