I can’t for the life of me see why you’d need an Eco tank printer, unless your planning on printing everything you take a photo of then I can understand, but for low volume printing they are a complete over kill,

Any A3 printer dye or pigment is capable of printing on Canvas, it’s not that special of a surface to print upon, I’ve used 4 dye inks as well as multi- pigment ink on Canvas and there’s not that much difference in the two, it just all depends on how well you set your print up.

Here is the Canvas I use for to print up to 320 x 590 mm and the canvas is as easy to handle and print as any other paper, It only cost a few Euros in my local Lidl store, please try not to over think your task in hand, a Pro 10 or Pro 100 with would make for a better option..

Just my two cent worth..;)
Not overthink?? It's what I'm known for!

You said "a Pro 10 or Pro 100 with [WITH WHAT? THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME] would make for a better option.

You canvas paper is spec'd with 340 gr/m2 , canvas material typically is thicker than regular photo/fineart paper with the same weight. The ET7750 supports papers up to 300gr, the ET16650 only up to 255gr so they are out.
I would recommend here one of the A3+ photo printers by Epson or Canon with pigment inks - P600/700 or Pro300 , and there might be a chance that a Canon Pro10s is on sale since it is replaced by the Pro300 at this time. These printers support a wider range of specialty papers.

The Pro 100 (Dye) and Pro 10 (Pigment) are much easier to work with for the occasional print job and can handle most paper weight and sizes, and the Canvas doesn’t need to be 340 gm, because when its mounted it gets its stiffness from the frame..

P.S. These two Canon printers can be easily filled with 3rd party inks.. (A further saving)

Thank you both! I will be printing other things, this will not be used just to print some canvas stuff for home.

What I really wanted to know is if anyone has printed (or has the experience to comment on printing) canvas with an ecotank like the 7750. I understand a lot of it is setup, but it seems to be divided 50 / 50 on those who say canvas on an inkjet not specifically designed for it is muddy and those who say it came out beautifully. The canvas I listed is marketed for use on all inkjets despite being pretty thick.

Since the consensus seems to be the inks on the 7750 are very close to the Claria, I’m wondering if it really just will come down to thickness and experimenting with a profile.

whole I could go the route of Pro-10 / Pro -100, it seems a lot of after-market tinkering I’d need to do to get and maintain it as a refillable printer.

The ET7750 is spec'd for max 300gr papers which relates to the platen gap, so you may get head contact with the type of canvas which you selected.
A profile and color mgmt are not specific to canvas material.

As long as it is not clear which media had been used in those cases such statements are not relevant, if you use some paper which is not coated for inkjet use you'll get as well rather limited color saturation.

I was referring to the exact paper I referenced from Amazon. Some say yay some say nay.
Now, I’ve read the entire ET-7750 manual and it seems to clearly state you can’t print borderless 11x17 photo. Go figure.

The A3 format measures short of 12x17" - actually 297 x 420 mm - , and the manual states borderless printing for A3 for various paper types, that's what I read in the manual on page p39
https://download.epson-europe.com/pub/download/6311/epson631188eu.pdf

But I'm wondering - borderless printing was not raised as a requirement before, and if you believe Amazon reviews then just don't use that particular canvas material

@alockbox, Question for you;- why would you want or have a need for borderless Canvas prints, once attached to a frame any white area is hidden away..
