High speed printing activates the bidirectional printing, if you have problems with that you would need to run
the printhead alignment.
Could you post some scans of those variances in printout relating to the different driver settings, and are you doing nozzle checks - is there anything visible which could relate to these printout issues ?

Nothing coming up in the nozzle checks. I actually pulled out the magnifying glass lamp to look closer at the actual color schemes and still when using the adobe reader to print poster images it auto corrects the pages page by page instead of applying the color fix to all pages equally with the same adjustments. If I trun off auto correct there isn't an issue however auto correct seems to be the only way so far I've been able to get the images to print nice and how I would like them. I will scan a few of the printed images and post them now.

Here are the images. You can see in the top right corner of the 8 page poster printout for whatever reason the most top right image printed out with a different color profile than the rest and is very gray. To clarify as well this is using adobe to print from using the presentation matte settings. I am using the color correct option of fix photo automatic. Anything else I've tried hasn't came anywhere close to looking as perfect as this. 7 out of 8 of the pieces of this poster are fantastic as far as what I wanted its just that one piece in the corner that is off.

we have discussed and you have tested in detail the color correction options, such photo enhancement option is actually quite good and reliable - in most cases but not all of those.
There is the color correction option which might give you similar results with manual adjustments - or not.
And there is the ICM on option which uses an ICM- color correction profile specifically for Epson inks on Epson papers - you won't have an option to change such a color profile - you might get decent results as well with 3rd party inks and papers but there is no guarantee for that. You might give it a try

I've been messing around with all the advanced settings in Adobe and I've come across color handling and color management. I'm wondering what the difference is between using adobe settings vs printer settings and the rest of these options. Is there a good guide to read somewhere on these settings? I've googled it but haven't quite found anything that goes into all the intricacies of these advanced settings as much as I'd like.

Thanks

The first question would be what you want to acheive - you can do the full cycle of color management - calibrating your monitor and your printer(s) or something more limited - or testing if you can get the desired outcome as well with the color control driver settings wlhich include as well brightness and contrast adjustments. And next you would need to see if you do your own profiles with software like ColorMunki or use an external service.
I must admit I'm not familiar with Acrobat Pro and the available settings in context of color management but I'm sure we can get those discussed one by one .
There is plenty of information published on the internet about color mgmt and profiling, I'm just listing one source here

The options in the screenshot I submitted. The one where I've found the hugest difference is switching from Working RGB to prophoto RGB. Should I be letting acrobat handle the color or let printer handle it?

Explain difference.

Did you read the link in my last post?

Should I be letting acrobat handle the color or let printer handle it?
What happens when you try each one? What printer profile ICC do you use if you let the printer do color management? This dovetails with ISF's post above.

Color management is a wide and deep ocean. People pay for classes or books on this subject because it is so encompassing.

As @The Hat is fond of saying, let the printer take care of things in default settings until you understand what the printer does on it's own before muscling it with custom color management settings. That said, could there be a color space issue with your printed image mismatch?
