xp-7100 paper will not feed

3 yr old printer.. lightly use only .. suddenly stop feeding paper from tray #2.
removed tray, and rear assy.. no blockage.
I hear the feed mechanism trying to feed the paper but nothing happens
using high quality paper
any suggestions?

Have you tried cleaning the rubber pick up roller..

how do I access the rollers .. I suspect that must be the problem.,

problem solved... thanks .. I googled how to clean rollers and found the necessary info.
the rollers did not seem dirty/slippery .. but cleaned them and the feed now works..
