Weink lists two different bci-6 carts. The cheaper one, listed as CRU, is formulabs from what they tell me. The Image specialist ink must be in the more expensive carts. In Neil's web site he indicated that the MIS bulk inks were Image Specialist. I don't know if that was ever confiirmed, however.

Ivan,

Welcome to the forum and congrats on getting your new printer. Sorry that it's been so difficult to find a way to get ink shipped to you. Does anyone know why these companies don't ship outside the US, or make is to expensive? It can't really be all that difficult, can it?

I have no problems with MIS shipping to Australia they are very helpful and well priced,
shipping has only cost about $10.00 US for a small parcel and generaly takes about
5 to 7 days and I can pay by credit card

Hello you Chaps!

I've wandered by here a few times in the past, particularly while trying to fix my ol' stylus pro with its clogged black head (R.I.P.) but now I've got a bbrand new shiny Canon, I thought I'd better register and maybe even get active here.

I decided before buying that I'd go the compatible/refill route, but here in jolly old England it's proving very difficult to get any information or feedback about any of the offerings from the very very many sellers of aftermarket ink.

I'd read Neil's comparison review where Ingrabber loomed large, so I contacted them with a view to buying a kit or a small handful of cartridges (tanks?).

After a bit of e-mail tennis Ingrabber finally informed me that "shipping would be at least $100"
This is tantamount to telling me to "$%^&* off!" as I read it, which is a shame because I'm not the only one over here looking for this particular solution.

I've just had a reply from my query to lotsofthings.com which is simply
"I'm sorry but we do not ship out of the United States" signed Andrea.

<sigh>
so - I'm still looking.

Talk to you all later...
