floridaisgreat, thanks for visiting the forum.

Do you have more specifics for us? Did you have a problem with their products and/or support? If it was a problem with their products, could you provide us with the printer type and description of the cartridges / packaging?

I've not done a tremendous amount of testing, but so far I'm very happy with their cartridges. I'm not as excited about their ink (which was adequate, but not as good as the ink I've been using) but I refill with my own ink anyway. Too bad their cartridges don't come with the acrylic cartridge clips.

Since you brought it up, what ink do you use and which cartridges come with acrylic clips?

gator915, welcome to the forum!

The clips I'm using are the ones that came with my Arrow cartridges from alotofthings.com and I'm using a multitude of inks from a few sources. My pig black is from Image Specialists, my dye black is from formulabs and my color inks are from when I first started refilling and I don't know who the manufacturer is. The company is a small outfit and I'm very curious who their ink manufacturer is.

Once I run out of ink from my current source I'll probably go to Formulabs or Image Specialists or a combination of both. I haven't had the greatest luck with Formulabs Pigment black (as sold by alotofthings) but I don't know if it was a batch issue or not.

As an update, I've been having great success with refilling my wiredbeans carts and am very happy with my results thus far.

JV, have you used the acrylic clips? I'd like to hear someone's experience with both types of clips (the ones from alotofthings and the ones from OA100) to hear which are preferred.

JV - The cart and clip shown in the 3rd photo of your referenced post appear to be very similar to some G&G carts that I bought several months ago from Inkgrabber, even down to the vent sealing tape. There is a photo of one of these carts and clips at
http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=599#p599

Rob - Not every cart snaps into the G&G clips.

Nifty and Grandad,

Nifty is right, the OEM, BIJC#1 and BIJC#2 carts do not snap in the OA100 or G&G clips at the ink tank end. Only the OA100 cart has a recess to engage a tab on the clip. The other end is engaged by a tab on all carts. All carts fit and stay in place but need a rubber band to hold securely.

The Ninestar Image Co. manufactures G&G carts. On their web site http://ggimage.com/english/about_company.htm they show G&G carts with OEM clips, except the Red and Green carts have the same clips as the OA100 carts .
