it's all that and more, the question where the assumed clog is supposedly located and whether any cleaning agent can possibly reach that location if the ink channel is blocked, and not all missing lines in a nozzle check point to clogged nozzles, you rather may have air trapped somewhere blocking the ink transport and some more of such effects so neither one of the cleaners may be successful, or both.
