What is the difference between these two, aside from the smell of the Windex? Which one is more thorough at cleaning?

The Windex solution is far better at cleaning beyond a shadow of dough, but the pharmacist solution is more a reconditioner and rejuvenator, but it still works as a cleaning agent only very much slower.

Pharmacist solution is recommended after cleaning and for storage, while long term exposure to Windex is said to be harmful to your print head but not so pharmacist solution, its ideal for that...

it's all that and more, the question where the assumed clog is supposedly located and whether any cleaning agent can possibly reach that location if the ink channel is blocked, and not all missing lines in a nozzle check point to clogged nozzles, you rather may have air trapped somewhere blocking the ink transport and some more of such effects so neither one of the cleaners may be successful, or both.
