I've been able to keep my Epson R2000 working, thanks to tips on this website. It's been a chore, though, as this printer is seven years old. Recently, one color (magenta) just won't stay clear for more than a day or two. It's really clogged right now. I've been doing the Windex paper towel thing repeatedly, including one overnight, but to no avail. Printing magenta-heavy images also does nothing. Do I keep doing this, or is taking it to be serviced locally my next step?

I'm using genuine Epson inks and always have. I'm going to try the Octopus Print Head cleaner you suggest. I'm trying to find a U.S. seller. It appears to be a European product and the websites that list it either won't ship to the U.S. or U.S. shipping is prohibitively high. I may try another brand. Are they all pretty much the same? Are there ones I should avoid? Thanks for the information. You're always the first to reply to my posts and I appreciate it.
