I have been searching for several months for specific Epson R2000 refillable carts or chips that can be reset at any time. I bought an Epson R2000 resetter hoping it would be able to reset my refillable cartridges, but only red could be reset. Last time I had the dreadful ink spilling cascade of several carts, that were near empty or empty and it costs me 4 times refilling and priming. I think almost 15 ml 's have be down the drain, because I could not reset the chips at will.

I want to stop this madness. Is it possible to refill original Epson R2000 without having the chips short cut by a lack of ink near the sensor ?

Please help !!!

Hi Serhat,

Thanks: they must be able to be RESET at any times, not ONLY when the chip is registered as empty. I have contacted several suppliers via Aliexpress.com and none could deliver these specific carts: all can only be reset when the printer says "empty".

well you can reset chips manually with a Resetter at "any" time
this work with most of the normal refillable cartridges

I have a resetter for the Epson R2000: only red can be reset. Original carts can be reset, but the problem is the wet sensor in the cartridge, so I don't know how to refill these original carts without having them fused. I tried several refillable cartridges and most of them refused to be reset. With the epson 1500W this was not a problem: both original and refillables can be reset at will.

I also have R2000 resetters incoming since the printer is most commonly found as a "electronical base" for various kind of Garment Printers, UV Printers and other applications

you cant reset oem below 10% ink ,since the fuse will be blown by then

other possible solution is a decoder board that you install inbeetween the csic board and formatter board http://i01.i.aliimg.com/wsphoto/v0/...oder-new-type-R2000-decoder-2013-for-sale.jpg

All of them! LOL
Pharmacist. If you are interested, what would it cost to send you a set of the older battery " reset to full by shorting out the chip " type of carts. I happen to have several sets that I will probably never use again since I am using only OEM carts now.
Those can be reset to full at any time. But you have to remove the carts to do so you can short out and reset the chip.

By chance I do have two sets filled with IS inks.
I just checked and it should be about $21 to $22 to Belgium.
I will through in a ten pack of batteries for good measure.

PM me your address but I will not be able to ship until this Thursday as it is my day off from Grandson Watching. The poor lad is a bit under the weather right now so I am not yet sure about by baby sitting duties! But if not this Thursday, definitely this Saturday.
