r2400 not turning on

Hi guys, I just recently turned my r2400 on and the button led blinks and lights up and nothing happens after that. Any idea whats causing it to behave such way?

I have used the printer a week ago, its fine, and I just plugged in the power 15 minutes ago to realise this problem.

So, to recap, you get a solid power light which stays on but you don't get any of the clicking and whirring that usually accompanies the power on process for your printer. Correct?

Does sound a lot like you may need to get it to an Epson Service tech... I could be wrong though so perhaps someone else will be able to shed some more light.

yea thats exactly whats happening. any idea what causes that? also to add that once i turn it on, it flashes once. but when ui try to turn it off nothing happens. the led still keeps lighted.

I had a similar problem with my HP DeskJet D2560. Since it was a couple of weeks old, I've contacted my HP reseller - they said it happens now and then. Since the printer is an cheap inkjet printer and HP don't manufacture spare parts, they gave me new printer.

So I'd contact the local dealer or repair service
