Hi all,
does any one have a clue of how to over come the problem regarding the Primera 4100 chips, in order to solve the refill issue ?

That's because all the attemps to refill the cartridge, the chip that is on top of the cartridge tell the machine that cartridge is empty..

Best regards
Hi!
Have try to find the right chip for Primera 4100, but have not find it, so I ordered from the factory!

Is it interest for that chip?

Get the chips to day, and it seems to work fine!

I had to cut of the little pin on the Lexmark 100, cores it did not fit, had to sett the carters to times in the printer, but then it work!

The pic is from Lexmark 100.

Thisis an extremely late point to solve this mystery. I’ve had my Bravo 4051 (part of the Bravo 4100 series for 13 years. Hadn’t used it in a few years, and I tried recently. Got an error from PT Publisher saying not all print cartridges are installed

Thisis an extremely late point to solve this mystery. I’ve had my Bravo 4051 (part of the Bravo 4100 series for 13 years. Hadn’t used it in a few years, and I tried recently. Got an error from PT Publisher saying not all print cartridges are installed. Sorry wasn’t finished before sending!
Anyway, after trying every method known to man or AI, like new cartridges, new print head, all contacts cleaned, etc. I was left with one ghost of a hint on Primera’s Knowledge Base in an article about 4100’s invalid cartridges. The hint? “If one cartridge color is continually not registering or shown as invalid or not installed, it may be the RFID board…”

RFID BOARD. RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION. Wireless! There is a RFID board in the chassis that queries the cartridges for presence, ID number and ink status. Each cartridge has an RFID chip hidden under the paper label on the top edge. The Lexmark cartridges don’t have the chips, so Bravo would never see them properly.
