If the purging station seal is not functioning properly, all the problems the user is experiencing will occur. Clogged heads, drying of the inks etc.
Where is the "Purging Station" and how do I service the seal?

Thanks,
Bob

It's on the far right side of the printer. It is supposed to seal the printhead when the printer is at rest. It prevents the nozzles from drying out by sealing it and it allows the priming pump to draw ink out of the printhead. You need to check to see if the rubber frame is perfect and smooth as well as test the the function of the priming pumo. Numerous threads are here on how to test for the functionality of the pump.

Off topic but assuming that "home printing" is not for me because of printer problems due to volume issues what 3rd party print service is recommended to those of us that would like to be a little more creative than straight forward 8 by 10s on glossy paper?

Thanks,
Bob
