PGI-220/520 CLI-221/521 OEM Black Tape

Hi.

Is there a way to remove the black tape from these new carts, at least from the ink chamber so that refilling (german) will be more easy.

it's hard to see weather cart is full or not

You can see it, because the area beneath it is not covered with plastic and is completely transparant and this area is facing up, when you refill it using the german durchstich refill method.

Do you mean the small transperent area at the bottom of the ink cart (which is facing upwards when refilling (german method)) if so yes, I agree with you but it's still hard to see for pigment black, dye black and grey (at least for my old eyes)
