May I ask what do you actually want: you seem to drag everything that is not is not the point of your problem ??? What has the 5090 to do with your printer (unless your screen is badly profiled). We know that updating firmware is not good for using aftermarket inks/cartridges and why mentioning Jone Cone in this discussion: it doesnt seems to make any sense in specifying and solving your problem....I presume you have tried my Windows 11 based method to print your i1Studio/ccStudio target with help of my step by step print screens to obtain a good profile. I have Windows 11 too and not the slightest problems you are mentioning here.

If you went through the amount of time I've spent tackling this issue, you might understand all the possibilities that may be involved. Trying to figure out where and why is part of it. I may be more color critical than most too, but I have worked in a photo lab and often was surprised at what people think is good or accurate color.

And yes, I've gone through your settings many times over, and many other settings too. There are differences in the Dutch and English versions shown with regards to the Preferences shown, but I probably hit them all after 150 test sheets. No changes were seen or very minimal. I used the ColorMunki Photo in ccStudio after the initial results using the i1 PhotoPro 3 were dismal and I was wasting a lot more time scanning three pages of them and the amount of paper used trying to get somewhat close.

Could be you are satisfied with your results, but I am not and why I bugged x-rite enough until they got me on Team Viewer and saw the issues first hand. Surprised them, and support was raising it to some other level with their crew. They admitted the computer I have they haven't yet run across, i.e., ones with a high-nit (Very bright.) white LED screens which can make for issues in getting a decent monitor profile prior to even tackling a printer profile. Their software was designed around the CRT screen era and why the Brightness, RGB, and Contrast remain as a default in i1Profiler. One can ignore it and the software might straighten much of that out as it proceeds - hopefully. Seems that is the way mine goes and why it puzzles them as to why it goes in hot (e.g. >400 cd/m2 and no way to lower it.) and then it ends up at 80 cd/m2 with a Delta E <1.0 at the end. Go figger! So far, the print end does not operate like that.

As far as I can determine, Windows 11 has issues. Their ACM is broken or has been modified enough to the point ICC profiles are difficult as mentioned in bold earlier on (API's are yet to be released or fixed evidently.) and they prefer their own color management. Nvidia has its own issues and is in the problem chain for me too. Maybe their next driver version will help with some of it. X-rite has seen it on my end. They've released a new i1 Profile edition (Windows and Mac) to help with some issues, and I've tried it this AM and although slightly better, I'd still not use it. Some may though.

If you have solved the ACM issue in Windows 11, you may want to write up how you managed it so others can fix it. So far, I haven't and going back to Windows 10 does fix it. Submit it to x-rite as well.

Below is the results of the ICM profile from the newest i1Profiler 3.8.5 with their i1 PhotoPro 3 spectrometer using WIndows 11. Also, I used the OBC portion that ccStudio doesn't have to eliminate any OBC out of the paper. Still, it's Yucky! Improvement in the blues, but now the reds are faded. They fixed one thing, and broke another.

Below is a new Windows 10 profile made this AM after disaster with Windows 11 again. An Optimized and Non-Optimized profile via the ColorMunki and ccStudio. I'm now out of paper and not wanting to dig into box four just yet at $50/box. Least Windows 10 is tried and true.

Not that it matters - but it might - the Windows 11 version I am running is their "Pro" version 24H2 O.S. Build 26100-4351. Could be different in the "Home" version that "May lack some features" (ahem!). Can check the version out with the WINVER command.

I did put another bug in x-rite's ear on their new i1Profiler version 3.8.5 too. Wait and see.....
