I signed up because I kinda lucked into a Stylus Pro 3880 for startlingly little money. I expect this may have a bit to do with the apparent cost of ink for those unwilling (or unwitting) to get creative with this issue. I'll post more about that in the proper forum.

As for me, I've done IT at a daily newspaper for >30 years. I oversee a 2880 (disused) and a gigantic 9800 (sadly nonfunctional) at work, and before that a 2200, and various small-format units, so I'm no stranger to Epson printers in general. Still, I thought it wise to reach out to others with more experience with the 3880 before diving in, and so here I am.

If anyone needs opinions about large-scale, commercial printing, hit me up. Likewise, if anyone wants to pick up an Epson Stylus Pro 9800 on the cheap... ;)
