Change Print Quality from High to Standard to use less ink.

I don't use the CD/DVD software that Canon has. I found it limiting. Instead I have been using Acoustica CD Label Maker. Currently, the template for one of my main DVD hub printable discs has an outer diameter setting of 118.70 mm. If you cannot alter the dimensions in your current disc printing software then it is time to find a different one.

You have two alternatives one is to get a complete new set of ARC chips and replace your current ones.
The second one is to get a resetter and use the chips from your original OEM cartridges on your current ones.

Just to be the Devils advocate you could also get an empty set of 521/221 carts fit your 225 OEM chips on them
and armed with a resetter, then all your trouble would be few.. :)
