My recomendations are this:

1. Unplug the printer USB cable from the computer.

2. Uninstall the print driver using the uninstaller.exe

3. Uninstall Easy Photo Print using it's uninstaller.exe

4. Reboot the computer

5. Download and Install the driver for the IP5000 (with the USB cable unplugged)

6. Connect the printer USB cable, it will locate and setup the IP5000 since the driver is already installed.

7. Install Easy Photo Print EX 1.20

8. Did it work?

Yes I have version 3.7 installed now and was told by Canon that this was the latest ???

Just wondered as well about a prior poster addressing the issue of completely uninstalling the drivers...somehow I feel that has not really occurred. Does anyone know how to do this ???
Yes Canon simply had me go to the CP and add/remove and I have felt even though the printer was removed that the drivers were possibly either still there or remnants thereof ????

Comments anyone, thankyou.
I am no whiz with all of these uninstall programs...only the better half and is on assignment and i want to try to get this to work properly on this notebook. It is working properly on the other notebook.
