Maintenance tank Epson 3880

Just replaced maintenance tank in my Epson 3880 with new genuine Epson T5820/ICMT1 and still getting message "Cartridge Error Replace the cartridge. I've tried a number of things including unplugging the power lead and leaving off for a 20 minute period. Ive installed the cartridge with the power already on and with the power off all to no avail.

Any ideas would be welcome.

Got this sorted. What happened was that I got replacement ink cartridges and I got the chips for light magenta and vivid magenta mixed up, hence the printer was so confused it was dishing up that error. All sorted now T.G.
