Is there a decent ePrint HP?

Tudor: Thanks. I asked and they said they won't never sell InkTec in smaller than 1L (and no serial for specific printer/cartridge, but they said it's for HP Designjet large format printer). I can only buy InkMate - which does sell at 100ml (still the ink for HP Designjet large format printer, not specific for HP564/685 cartridge....)

Tudor is correct these HP inks will work in your printer all be it you have to buy it in 1 Litre bottles

Just because its meant for large format printers does not mean it is in compatible with smaller desktop printers,
the reference to the yellow ink being different made by PeterBJ just means that its a slightly different shade that is all..

The reason I thought inks for Canon printers were available in your country is that I have Canon Pixmas iP2700 and iP3600 that are produced in Vietnam. See this post: http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=67238#p67238

Maybe The Hat explained it better than I did: The only problem with using inks for Canon in your HP is that colours might be off when printing photos, the inks will not harm your printer.

In my country, people wanna maximize their profit and no care of their customers => 1 ink for each branch, they don't wanna spend money importing too many seri of ink. Ex: InkTec has many different ink with different code for just HP branch (http://inktec.com/english/pdf/upload_pdf/(E)OA_catalog_6.2_72dpi(2).pdf), but they only import 1 of them and sell as "HP universal", take that and sell as Canon as well.

Canon does produce (actually, not produce, but assemble) some printers (not ink! all ink for all branches of printers are manufactured somewhere nearby, like Indonesia.) in here, but most people are advised (and, indirectly, forced!) to use Epson and nothing else because most are using Epson (Why? because they want their printer to be able to use any kind of ink, they buy printers to open printing shop => Epson printhead can tolerate many types of ink, even those that are very dangerous: sovent ink, super-fast drying ink for printing on PCB, nylon, PVC tube,...) => people import ink for Epson the most.

I, and other customers, have no choice...and maybe we have to follow that others are using here...

I wasn't notice that the refill ink for HP is as difficult to find as...hell! "Epson ubiquitous"...

Actually, an Epson with equivalent features to my HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525 (Epson L355 -- wifi, duplex, eprint,...) will be 2 times more expensive.

I did a research, a found that the InkMate for HP that they are selling is this:

The printers listed has the >=14pl droplet for K and >=5pl droplet for CMY. While my printer has 14pl droplet for K and 5pl droplet for CMY.

Back to the topic of this topic:

Canon and Epson both came up with their on "ePrint" version, but without the WebApp like ePrint and of course with different name. They are available on higher-end printers, unlike HP it's available to some lower-end printers as well.

For those with printers without eprint capability, they can use Google Cloud Print as a solution, but with the price of electricity to leave a laptop connected to the printer always on! (Or nearly always on, since Google Cloud Print enable a delay of 24 hours, so you can send stuff to the printer, then at the evening when you come back home, turn on the printer and laptop, stuff will be printed.)

Note: ePrint and wifi/ethernet capability should be distinguisted! Some printers come with network capability - means instead of USB connect, it's now LAN/Wifi connect and this type of connect enable printer sharing inside a network. It's actually an integrated print server.

How exactly do you want me to respond to the Hp data, with those size droplets just about anything would work in them..

Oh, just a little bit worry that the ink particle size if they're larger 13pl then they would clog or even toast my printhead.

Inkmate website doesn't release the particle size of their ink, unlike InkTec...

BTW, "just about anything" is a dangerous statement proved my me putting Epson ink in.
