I've never seen a PRO9000 but if uses the chipped cartridges, I don't see how it could be using the same printhead. It probably is very similar but it can't be interchangeable.

Conflicting information out there.
More than one place shows Print Head; QY6-0055-000 fits i9900, i9950, iP8500, iP8600, Pro9000?

Muzicman82 you may need to talk to Canon and see what they say.

I sure would like to read about someone repairing a Canon logic board.

I replaced the print head for my i9900 and the box indicated it was for all the printers listed above.

Gee whiz I am not trying to start a debate I was just agreeing with Muzicman82.
Conflicting information does not mean that QY6-0055-000 will not work in a Pro9000.
I just mint that Canon knows for sure what printers QY6-0055-000 will work in.

beckscrs.com list: QY6-0055-000 Print Head; i9900; Pixma iP8500; Pixma Pro9900?
Is Beckscrs owned by Canon?

This picture of a QY6-0055 box does not list Pro9000?
Is the box in the picture a genuine Canon part, I sure dont know?
To me this is confusing.
