Sell it, you won't lose much $$$. The AMS and the wastage is a definite disadvantage. I bought the Snapmaker U1 on a whim and it has been a real eye opener. Virutally no wastage on multicolored prints and a system that works and is easy to use. I agree though that most people print single coloured prints for a lot of the time.

The Snapmaker is also almost completely open source and already has a great third party firmware that amongst other things allows you complete remote control over the printer, inclusing a virtual copy of the LCD screen. You can do everything remotely, except of course changing the filament when a spool runs out :)

On another note there is a fork of Orca that allows a 4 colour multi toolhead printer to print many other colours, currently on the U1 but I'm guessing it won't be long before a version is created for Bambu etc.

Now have 3 Ender-3 V3 Plus SE/
There are definitely parts of me that feel a little uncomfortable having a big, huge expensive monster printer in one room that I don't use very much, and then a tiny printer in this room that I'm using all the time.
Mostly I print just one colour, and if I have a need for a second or third colour it’s not that hard to swap out one for the other, the only down side with this type of operation is you have to be there to physically change the reel box..

I taught with the direct feed extruder it would be harder to change from one colour to another, but I was wrong, it’s easier and more efficient than even..
No mishaps so far..

I also had a few very small printers to do things while my bigger ones were busy doing something else, but because they were used so little, they tended to play up and needed far more handling and pulling apart, so they ended up in the dumpster in the sky..

Here are a few multi-colour prints that I did since I got my new Ender-3 Plus, some of these prints were done back in 2018 and need updating..

P.S. I can’t remember the last time I did a photo on my inkjets..
