Just wanted to share. Maybe it's of use to someone.
I use a large syringe that exactly fits the top refill hole. I apply force and use lukewarm tap water (which is very pure in the Netherlands). After 5 to 6 flushes I usually get clear water thru the cartridge.
Not in the video: after flushing, I use the syringe to blow air thru the cartride to remove as much water as possible. After that I apply ghwellsjr's paper towel method to thoroughly dry the cartridge.
