Epson SureColor P600 - Persistent 0x53 startup error

I will (as soon as I figure out how exactly to remove the cover) - can't thank you enough for the reply/tip.

I dont know if you had
a chance to look yet..covers pretty easy ,few screws.
After my "repair," all fired up ok about to do nozzle check,paper started to feed then error x053.!!!
Soooo.. cover off again,my repair adhesive cos it ABS plastic didnt hold, and end gear free to rotate.
However ive got new one from Amazon coming £25 ,and used one from ebay£16
Being an engineer , i wont give up yet!

I gave up. The thing has supported me relatively well since 2018 - but I just know that I will spend more time and money getting "back to zero" then actually printing my photography. So I found a P900 on Facebook Marketplace and got that instead. Back to happy!

Ive got a r3000, sc-p800 and a sc-p 700,as I do a lot of prints esp in mono, but like to rotate use
If it dosent.work at least ive tried
And will re-chip the re-fill carts to go into the r3000
