Although I do not presently use an Epson printer, there are Epson users who participate on this forum and either need information or have information to post. To start this thread I am copying a post from the comp.periphs.printer newsgroup that looked valuable for our Epson participants.

Hi,
We've been using Inktek compatible cartridges for our Epson 740, 880,
C80, C82 and C84 for a couple of years for our more than 60 printers at
school without head clogs and very nice printing. These folks are in New
York city area.
They've proved reliable and have saved us an arm and a leg moneywise They
apparently have ink for the CX5200.

In addition, anyone with an Epson should communicate with Arthur Entlich and request his Epson printhead cleaning manual. Lots of information on diagnosing and fixing head clogs. He will email it at no cost. His email address is e-printerhelp@mvps.org . He answers questions on the printer newsgroup noted above when people post Epson printer problems.
