For reference this is my own guide to printhead cleaning although it needs a bit of tweaking to bring it 100% up to date. Covers a lot of the points raised, particularly about use of pressure!
As to the heated cleaning solution, word of Caution!... Caustic chemicals, gaseous form, breathing, eyes, etc... Any of this ringing any alarm bells? It should. Please think about what you're doing and consider potential ramifications, especially to the uninitiated who might come across a suggestion and try it out for themselves.
Not smacking wrists, just parent mode coming out... I don't need your mum or significant other coming round to "have a chat".. K?
