I have encountered a strange problem:
when opening an Argyll 16bit TIFF target in CS4 Photoshop I at first got the message "not enough memory". After the next and all following tries Photoshop opened only the typical checkered backround layer with nothing on it.
In contrast 8bit TIFFs can be opened and modified.
Even worse: all former 16bit Tiff-files from other applications which never gave any problems can also not be opened. Even after reinstallation of Photoshop things didn't get better.
System is Win7; Enough memory has been assigned to Photoshop. Argyll 16bit TIFF is ~ 3MB
Any ideas?
